How does it all work?

Hey, Everyone –

What I would like to tell you about is just how this all works.

Let me say, right off the bat, that there are no fees for you to pay. Breaking Rules Publishing wants to work with, and partner with, you to make your book a success. Not just drop your book in your lap and say there you go. GREAT JOB !!

We will publish short stories - novellas and novels in the fiction and non-fiction genres.  We are looking for authors and writers who are looking outside the box, willing to help in their own success and breaking a few rules along the way.

To submit your work for consideration, please send an email to breakingrulespublishing@gmail.com. 

Please include your contact information as well as an attachment of your work. We will confirm your submission within 24 hours, as well as get back to you within one week on the possibility of publishing options.

Many publishers don't tell you about their royalty package until the very end of your process. We're letting you know up front that we will publish your book and help you market it. We will pay royalties of 70 - 30 (in our favor) until the first 200 books/Ebooks have been sold. Once you have sold 200 books that situation will flip and the rate will be 70-30 in your favor. Giving you a much higher return on your work. This will also allow us to help pay for the admin and printing costs related to your book. 

Next Up – Scholarships

Scholarships will be made available to young writers between the age of 16-22. The funds made available will be allocated for writing classes, writing workshops, writing camps, tuition for college writing classes, as well as writing tools (pads, computers, laptops and assistance with publishing).

with your current contact information - the need for the scholarship and cost, as well as a short essay, no more than 1,000 words, as to what your writing aspirations are, what you plan to do with the scholarship funds and the experience as well as why you feel you deserve the scholarship.

Finally Moving Forward With New and Previous Authors And Titles -

Welcome to some of our new authors and congratulations to our present authors.

The reality is - Irma put a big hit on Breaking Rules Publishing. Hurricane Irma that is. 

One - we were without power for over a week. That in itself was a challenge as if wasn't just us, it was the entire city, area. But, like everyone else dealing with the after-effects, we survived. 

Two - because of the damage not only done here but also with our printer. They, like so many, also suffered some damage, causing many delays in their processes. Which has lead to our own delays in the printing of new and current novels. We apologize for any and all delays - things are finally getting back on track and we're moving full steam ahead.

Three - because of Irma we were also forced to move our lovely location on the water. Various damage was done which caused us to have to move. Luckily we were able to land close by in Gulfport, FL.

To that end, we received many new submissions, some of which are listed below. We are finally expanding in all of our genre's and would like to continue.  As mentioned on Facebook, we are currently accepting submissions.
